Swindon Town have organised a charity abseil down the 83ft high Don Rogers stand on Sunday 2nd October. The event is in aid of the Prospect Hospice which I am sure you would agree is a fantastic cause.
I have been mad enough to participate in this event as my way of giving something back. My last abseiling experience came back in 2005 on a school trip to Pencelli. The height was nowhere near to this 83ft abseil so it is quite a daunting prospect.
For this I have set myself a target of £200 with anything else a bonus. To help me with this I have set up a page to assist with online donations. I would really appreciate any donation, not matter how small.
